The Longhorn Law Firm is intentionally small. We work with three attorneys across our active offices — Shawn Barnett (Managing Attorney, NM-licensed), Jonathan Perez (Texas Co-Counsel, San Antonio), and Jeff Barnett (Austin Co-Counsel). Together, we cover the full TX-NM personal injury market with local office presence in Albuquerque, San Antonio, and Austin.

Jeff Barnett founded Barnett & Leuty, PC in 1995 — three decades of Austin practice in business law, transactional matters, estate planning, and certified mediation. The Longhorn Law Firm's Austin office operates from Jeff's north Austin practice on Jollyville Road.

Shawn handles NM matters — state and federal — out of the firm's Albuquerque office. Jonathan provides Texas co-counsel from San Antonio for cases in South and Central Texas. Jeff provides Austin co-counsel for cases in the Austin metro and Hill Country. Federal cases and cross-border matters get the benefit of attorneys licensed in both jurisdictions.
